DESIGN BY AB DESIGN STUDIO, INC.

 

ME:OU (Modular Expandable : Office Unit), is a re-purposed shipping container to be used as mobile office units. They can consist of any number of adjoined containers, can be temporary structures, and self-sufficient. This particular project was done in collaboration with CubeDepot who provided fabrication and transportation support.

A prototype model was constructed utilizing two twenty foot containers, creating a modern office space for two architects.

 
 

The boxes were built in 5 weeks before being shown at the ‘Dwell On Design’ exhibition in Los Angeles before reaching their final destination as an office space for two architects located adjacent to their design studio.
